Gohar Ali has been associated with Pakistani and International media sector since 1986, principally as a journalist and media development specialist.  Being working in FATA/KPK for more than 25 years, I witnessed Afghan war, Afghan movement towards Pakistan, War on Terror and Talibanization in the area, he worked very closely, to cover these subject in a journalistic manner, hence, developed a strong sense for conflict journalism. Currently, Ali is associated with Jang group, meanwhile  he worked with other National and International media and media development organizations. He Worked with Internews, Freedom Network and many other national and international organizations.
